This is the class where language bubbles up in the middle of play. (Seriously — you may hear a brand-new word while your child pours water from one cup to another!)
Water tables, pour stations, and splash bins full of fun
Sponges, cups, toys, and tools for scooping, squeezing, and swirling
Songs with words like “splash,” “pour,” “wet,” “bubble,” and “pop”
Gentle guidance that helps even hesitant kids feel confident to explore
✔️ Boosts early language with action words and repetition
✔️ Encourages sensory exploration in a controlled, low-stress setting
✔️ Builds focus, coordination, and independence
✔️ Supports emotional regulation through calming water play
Towel and a change of clothes — it’s called Splash Day for a reason!
Non-slip shoes or barefoot-friendly footwear
Comfy clothes for you too — grown-ups may get splashed!
Sensory Splash Day is a fan favorite every semester. It’s messy in the best way, and full of learning that doesn’t feel like learning at all.
